Major Funding Support for the Journal Science of Nursing and Health Practices / Science infirmière et pratiques en santé

We are pleased to share that Science of Nursing and Health Practices / Science infirmière et pratiques en santé, jointly published by Université Laval and Université de Montréal, has received funding through the Aid to Scholarly Journals – September 2025 competition of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).

The grant, totaling $138,000 over three years, complements the $99,993 award from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC) obtained in 2025 through the Support for Scientific Journals – New Journal program.

These investments will support the continued development and international visibility of the journal, while advancing its mission to disseminate rigorous and innovative research. As an open-access journal, Science of Nursing and Health Practices / Science infirmière et pratiques en santé aims to contribute to the transformation of health practices by facilitating the transfer and uptake of research-based knowledge.
